RELIGION : PANTHEONS

In Nym's Eye, there have been several beings throughout its existence that have been worshipped as gods. Sometimes, these gods tend to join together, to form assemblies and groups that work towards similar goals. In the simplest terms, these are known as pantheons.

While there have been many different pantheons that have risen and fallen throughout history, from minor tribal pantheons to pantheons of false gods, there are specifically three major pantheons that are the most well-known in our world.

​

All three belong to and are consistent of mostly Creator Deities, though some of these pantheons do include various Wildgods and Earthen Gods, such as in the Sirdelion Songwheel, where Spirit Gods are also known members.

The three pantheons' goals are generally quite different from each other.

 

The Many-Gods have no one true goal, except to maintain a sort of deistic system of governance between the Creators of Solitude, which they do by further splitting the Many-Gods into smaller, continent-based pantheons.

 

The Sifiran Pantheon is ruled by the Creator sisters of Sifir, Nydd, and Signis, whose efforts are mostly spent on governing the gods and beings of the northern continents, and safekeeping those worshippers who dwell there.

 

The Sirdelion, better known as the Elven Pantheon, takes charge of supervising the many Verses of Dar Shilmarin elves.

Sometimes pantheons clash with each other, as their ideas of how to govern the domains, aspects, and peoples of the worlds are often the cause of clamour and opposition between the gods.
